Jon Gruden has resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders following reports that emails he wrote over a 10-year period included racist, misogynistic and anti-gay language.
The resignation came shortly after The New York Times reported that Gruden used misogynistic and anti-gay language in numerous emails during a seven-year period. That report came days after 10-year-old emails from Gruden surfaced that included a racist comment about NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith as well as a vulgar criticism of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Gruden emailed Allen that Goodell should not have pressured then-St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher to draft "queers," referring to former defensive end Michael Sam, a gay player drafted in 2014, according to The Times. The Times also reported that Gruden used an anti-gay slur in several instances while referring to Goodell and used offensive language to describe some owners, coaches and media members who cover the league.
The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Gruden, in an email to Allen, said Smith had "lips the size of michellin tires," with the newspaper saying it had reviewed the email in question.
Gruden told ESPN that he routinely used the term "rubber lips" to "refer to a guy I catch as lying ... he can't spit it out."

As a former athlete I can tell you that people talk shit all the time during competition. It's part of the game. If the guy you're competing against has big lips, or crooked teeth or smells bad, you're going to talk shit. That's what men do. But we live in this hyper-sensitized society ran by feminists, where the only thing that matters is the feelings of blacks, jews and bitches.
These busy-bodies go through a dude's emails from 10-years-ago and are like, "uh oh. White man bad."
The guy wasn't even coaching at the time. And all he said was that teams shouldn't be forced to draft "queers." Should teams be forced to draft "queers" just because they do man-on-man anal? Are "queers" like jews, now? Their label is both an identity and an epithet? What was he suppose to call them 10-years ago? Wasn't "queers" the politically correct term?
And the thing about the black dude's lips was a joke. But look, due to black fragility you just can't make jokes about black people anymore. It doesn't hurt their feelings so much as it hurts the feeling of feminists and jews.
At the end of the day, this is actually a good thing. Sportsball was always a thing for alpha males to live vicariously through their hometown teams anyway. Now that these feminists are in charge of the National Feelings League, real men are going to find something better to do than cheer on black guys running with a ball on Sundays. Sunday was always for church, food and family, not watching fast black guys run with a ball in their hand on the TV.
Or maybe get on the internet and make jokes about black guys with big lips, or how queer the NFL is.
