Yea, About Expectations....

Failed expectations are the root of demoralization. This is true for the group and the individual.

Social engineers are well aware of this. That's why the masses are constantly demoralized.

In the status quo, the PTB are pretty much forced to keep the herd in a state of perpetual demoralization, otherwise the state would constantly be dealing with revolutionaries.

Sure, ICE whistlers technically have the revolutionary spirit, but they're more of the obnoxious Alinsky-style tactical breed than that of a Hofferite true believer. Plus, it's just hard to get onboard with criminals who have devalued what it is to be an American. Without law and order, the United States is just an undefinable land mass of abstractions.

However, according to the Pygmalion Effect, high expectations also lead to improved performance.

Pygmalion was an interesting man. Similar to Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection, Pygmalion fell in love with his own sculpture. Oddly, the sculpture was that of a woman, which focused on the external beauty of women, and not the faults that dominate the flawed intrinsic nature of a female.

This is likely the genesis of the blowup doll bride in modernity.

The Bible preaches about "youthful lust":

2 Timothy 2:22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust.

Love for ourselves, our creations or women are all the "youthful lust" Paul was writing to Timothy about.

Why does a man's heart forsake his soul?

Why are a man's desires always sickened with sin?

These type of questions are never answered in words. Well, they are, but the answers don't generate the knowledge that experience does. One has to experience the desire of "youthful lust" to comprehend it. One has to experience the slavery of sin in order to understand its mastery.
