Plato's Cave

In Plato's cave
the shadows dance
around Reality's grave.
The mystic chants
of Space-Time
cloud our reason
and seduce our mind.

Blinded by the light
our eyes scurry,
our hearts fright.
The shadows are blurry,
but they exist!
The fire crackles
and echoes into the abyss.

The senses are shackles
chained to the brain.
Why?! Is God to blame?
Let it rain
and douse the flame.
Release the shadows
from Plato's cave.
